Your catalog is earning. The question is how much you're not getting.

Most independent artists have royalties sitting uncollected across three failure points: metadata identity, distribution gaps, and publishing registration. These five tools find them for free.

Three places your royalties disappear

Identity gap

ISRC Finder, ISRC Validator, ISWC Validator

Platforms and collection societies pay based on metadata matches. If your ISRC or ISWC codes are missing, malformed, or unregistered, payments cannot find you - they sit in an undistributed pool or go to whoever filed the correct paperwork first.

Distribution gap

Distribution Coverage Checker

Every DSP your distributor does not reach is a stream that earns nothing. Some distributors cover fewer than half of the platforms actively licensing music. The gap is invisible until you check it.

Collection gap

Royalty Gap Estimator

Your music generates performance and mechanical royalties every time it is streamed, broadcast, or performed. Without active registration and pursuit, those royalties accumulate in society pools waiting for a rights holder to claim them - sometimes for years.

Run these five checks - in order

  1. 01

    ISRC Finder

Do you have recording codes for all your tracks?

Tracks without an ISRC cannot be matched to streaming or broadcast data - those plays generate royalties that have nowhere to go.

  2. 02

    ISRC Validator

Are your existing recording codes correctly formatted and registered?

A malformed or duplicated ISRC breaks the metadata chain. Platforms receiving bad codes cannot attribute plays back to the correct rights holder.

  3. 03

    ISWC Validator

Are your compositions registered at society level with valid work codes?

The ISWC is what collection societies use to match a performance to a publisher and a songwriter. Missing or invalid codes mean performance and mechanical royalties go unclaimed.

  4. 04

    Distribution Coverage Checker

Which platforms is your current distributor not reaching?

Coverage gaps are direct revenue gaps. Streams on platforms your distributor does not service generate no income - and you may not know they are happening.

  5. 05

    Royalty Gap Estimator

    Synthesis step

What is the estimated annual cost of all the above gaps combined?

This tool synthesises everything - catalog size, registration status, geographic reach, and revenue - into an estimated figure for uncollected royalties across PRS, MCPS, PPL, SoundExchange, and international societies.

What to do with what you find

If the Royalty Gap Estimator gives you a number, that money exists. It is sitting in a collection society's undistributed pool, or flowing to another rights holder because a metadata match resolved to them instead of you.

The tools identify where the gaps are. Closing them requires registration, metadata correction, and active royalty pursuit - work that compounds over time. The Catalog Assessment is how we determine exactly what is recoverable for your specific catalog.
