Missing ISRCs across your catalog?
Missing or duplicate ISRCs cause royalty routing failures. Our catalog assessment checks your entire catalog for metadata integrity, missing registrations, and uncollected income — at no upfront cost.
About ISRC codes
What is an ISRC?
An ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) is a globally unique 12-character identifier assigned to each sound recording. It is the primary mechanism that streaming platforms, broadcasters, and collecting societies use to identify a specific recording and route royalties to the correct rights holder.
Why does your ISRC matter?
Without a correctly registered ISRC, royalty payments from PPL neighbouring rights, SoundExchange digital performance, and international collection societies cannot be matched to your recordings. ISRCs are the single most important piece of metadata for maximising royalty collection.
ISRC vs ISWC
An ISRC identifies a specific recording (the master). An ISWC (International Standard Musical Work Code) identifies the composition (the song itself). A single composition can have many recordings, each with its own ISRC but all sharing the same ISWC.
