Profile
Metadata. Music. 15 Years of Expertise.
Keith Kirk has worked in the music business since 2008, specialising in music metadata. He has worked with companies including Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, BMG, Kobalt, the International Copyright Enterprise (Berlin), 21st Century Fox / National Geographic, TOVA Music Group, The November Society and PPLUK.
At the International Copyright Enterprise in Berlin, Keith used the CISnet music copyright database to prepare works for music rights societies. Later, he joined 21st Century Fox in London and then Sony Music Entertainment UK, supporting A&R Admin and Digital Operations — creating ISRCs and transferring physical label copy to the GRAS system for new digital releases.
Keith is also a co-manager for MOBO award-winning, MBE awardee Lurine Cato, with a strong network spanning Grammy-winning producers and industry professionals across the US and UK. He holds a BA in Music from the University of Hertfordshire and an MA in Music Business Management from the University of Westminster.
“Your success in music is directly determined and proportionately predicated on the quality of your metadata.”
