Gospel Music Label Services for UK Independent Artists

Publishing administration, digital distribution, and royalty collection built for gospel, Christian, and worship artists. CCLI coordination, PRS and MCPS registration, and distribution to every platform where your audience listens.

What Gospel Music Services Cover

Gospel and Christian music generates royalties from sources that general distributors and DIY aggregators do not address. CCLI church licensing income, Premier Christian Radio airplay, international Christian broadcast, and worship song registrations all require specialist handling. Here is what we cover.

CCLI Registration and Collection

We coordinate registration with Christian Copyright Licensing International so churches and Christian organisations using your songs generate royalties that flow to you. Most gospel and worship songwriters in the UK are owed CCLI income they have never claimed.

PRS and MCPS Publishing Administration

Your worship and gospel compositions need to be registered with PRS for Music and MCPS to collect performance, mechanical, and radio royalties. We handle full registration, ISWC issuance, writer split documentation, and ongoing royalty pursuit across mainstream and Christian performance channels.

Premier Christian Radio and UCB Delivery

Distribution to Premier Christian Radio, UCB, and global Christian broadcasting platforms requires specific metadata formatting and religious content classification. We ensure your releases are correctly formatted and delivered so airplay generates the royalties it should.

Black Gospel and Afro-Gospel Distribution

For Black gospel, contemporary gospel, and Afro-gospel artists, we include delivery to Boomplay and other African and diaspora-facing streaming platforms alongside all major DSPs, so your releases reach every part of your audience.

Worship Song Multi-Territory Collection

Worship songs that spread internationally through church networks generate royalties across multiple territories. We coordinate with international collection societies to ensure cross-border performance income finds its way back to you.

Sync Licensing for Christian Music

Christian and gospel music is increasingly licensed for film, television, and commercial use. We provide sync licensing support to help your catalogue generate income beyond streaming and church performance.

Why General Distributors Are Not Enough

DistroKid, TuneCore, and CD Baby distribute your music to mainstream DSPs. They do not handle CCLI registration, Christian broadcast metadata, PRS registration for worship compositions, or multi-territory church licensing collection. Gospel artists who rely solely on DIY platforms routinely miss significant income.

  1. 01

    CCLI is separate from streaming

Spotify plays do not generate CCLI income. Church performances and licensed reproductions do. If your songs are used in church services - even through Planning Center or SongSelect - those uses generate royalties that only flow to you if you are registered with CCLI. DIY platforms do not register you.

  2. 02

    Christian broadcast requires specific metadata

Premier Christian Radio and UCB carry specific genre and content classification requirements. Releases submitted without correct religious content metadata may not be accepted for playlist consideration or may not generate accurate airplay royalties through PPL.

  3. 03

Worship songs need ISWC codes and split documentation

Worship songs frequently involve multiple co-writers. Without properly documented writer splits and ISWC codes registered with PRS and MCPS, royalties get held or paid to the wrong parties. DIY platforms issue ISRC codes but do not handle the publishing registration side.

Gospel Music Services: Common Questions

What is CCLI and why do gospel artists need it?+

CCLI (Christian Copyright Licensing International) is the licensing body that collects royalties from churches and Christian organisations when they perform, stream, or reproduce worship songs. If your songs are used in church services - even online - CCLI tracks those uses and distributes royalties to songwriters and publishers. Most gospel and worship songwriters do not realise they are owed this income until they register. We coordinate CCLI registration as part of our publishing administration service.

Is CCLI the same as PRS for Music?+

No. CCLI and PRS for Music collect royalties from different sources. PRS collects from public performances, radio airplay, and commercial streaming. CCLI collects specifically from churches and Christian organisations using your songs in their services and activities. If your songs are used in both church settings and mainstream media, you need both. We handle both registrations and make sure royalties from each source flow correctly to you.

Do you distribute to Premier Christian Radio and UCB?+

Yes. Our distribution service includes metadata delivery formatted specifically for Christian broadcasting platforms including Premier Christian Radio and UCB in the UK, as well as global Christian streaming channels. Correct metadata for Christian broadcast requires specific genre classification and religious content tagging that many general distributors miss.

Can you help with publishing administration for worship songs?+

Yes. Worship song publishing has specific requirements: songs may be co-written by multiple contributors, used across multiple church contexts, and licensed through CCLI in addition to mainstream performance rights. We handle ISWC registration, writer split documentation, PRS and MCPS registration, and CCLI coordination so every income stream is covered.

Do you work with Black gospel artists?+

Yes. We serve artists across the full gospel spectrum including Black gospel, contemporary gospel, Afro-gospel, CCM, and worship music. For Black gospel artists with audiences in the UK, US, and African diaspora, we include platform delivery to Boomplay and other diaspora-facing streaming services alongside all major DSPs.
